FemTech Association Asia

Launched in October 2021, FemTech Association Asia (FAA) is the region’s first and largest specialist advisory and industry network for femtech founders, professionals and investors uniting with the core focus on improving women’s health through technology solutions. We currently represent 75+ companies across nine countries in Asia. One Bee Consulting Founder & CEO, Lindsay Davis, founded and leads the organisation with a mission to drive collaboration to accelerate the creation of more healthcare solutions, for more women.

“FemTech” is a culmination of the words Female and Technology and is defined by technology, products and services designed to better women’s health and wellbeing. In April 2023, Fortune Business Insights™ shared that the global femtech market size is projected to reach USD 20.59 Billion in 2030. The market size was valued USD 6.69 Billion in 2023, at a CAGR of 17.4% during the forecast period, 2023-2030. Asia is one of the fastest growing regions globally, but represents only 14% of the world’s FemTech companies. However, the region is set to make the most of the boom in the industry. FemTech Analytics predicts that by 2026, Asia will be seeing the world’s fastest growth in women’s health apps.

FemTech Association Asia has established a collective of FemTech companies in Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Thailand and Vietnam across multiple categories including: menstrual health, sexual health & wellbeing, menopause, fertility, supplements, diagnostics tests & screenings, parenting communities and research & education, and has built an network of international industry experts to connect to the global FemTech ecosystem. We also welcome members from overseas who want to connect with regional business leaders and learn more about Asia's FemTech ecosystem.
